That was one of the best performances I've seen from any team in a loooong time... (Ok maybe Deportivo 0-4 Milan was better ;))

Everything about Southampton just looked so fluid: the movement, the passing and the determination. Liverpool could do well to have a look at what Strachan is doing there.

    Plyd Saints.

Liverpool could do well to have a look at what Strachan is doing there.

I was talking to a few ppl lately about Liverpools plight, and suggesting Strachen would be a great Reds manager, they all said nah, he's not "big" enough! Well he's sure good enough to turn a team of lively but "moderate" talents into a smooth well oiled
    outfit.

The game tonight actually reminded me of Liverpool at thier old best, fluid one touch, pass and move footie, a joy to watch.

I really did think the match would be close, ah well. Definitely agree about Strachan though, he's done a great job at Southampton.

Just how crap were Spurs?? Apart from a five minute spell at the start of the second half, they were completely rubbish!

Fair play to Southampton though, it wasnt their fault the opposition was so poor.
