I have a Grundig Digibox approx. 4 months old and as of yesterday, the remote control won't work unless its within about 12 inches of the sensor and directly in front of it.I put new battery's into the remote but still no joy.Is this a common problem?Does anyone know how to fix it?Is a new remote my only alternative?Since the equipment is still under warranty who do I contact if I need to get my remote replaced etc. SKY or the Installer himself?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as my feet are worn out from getting up to flick channels!!:D

Oh yes, Sky. Not the installer, he only installs. As you say, You have it less than a year, so any repairs or replacements wont be at any cost to you.

Well yesterday I finally got round to ringing SKY and after performing a seris of tests for them over the phone, they told me my box was faulty and to contact the installer.
I then rang him and he arranged to call today, but typical last nite miraculously everything started working again fine last nite just before the installer was due to call.
    Can anyone explain this...?
Do you think the problem might resurafce again...?
