After the first year on Sky

As I understand it, once you have completed a year of contract with Sky, you own the dish and Digibox. Is there anything to prevent ordering another installation as a different name (say you just bought the house), and getting another Digibox?

    Yep, that should be fine.

You will need to relocate the original box - as Sky will NOT install a second 'susidised' receiver until they are happy the first is no longer present at the address.

Sky will indeed check all neccessary details in relation to the whereabouts of existing digibox .

i.e. They will contact any numbers that they have for the previous customer and ask if they would like the address etc changed and if they would like an installer to call and transfer service to new location .

Fairly shrewd are sky .. I know because I used to work for them Just home . recently .

Should they not have any success in contacting original customer ..Guess what happens. you got it...No pics . Basically .Unless you pay by dd in which case u will have pix .

It's not very easy to pull the wool over em .

add a new address to your house.
eg. instead of 32 Seaview Drive. have 32A Seaview Drive. it's a new address
