this board seems to me to focus on discussing personal experiences in the practical end of the theatre world. which is fine, but...

i was wondering if anyone posting here has interest in theatre as a cultural/ideological phenomenon and would be interested in discussing it in terms of its societal role, cultural implications, historical trends etc. come on people, where's the lacan, the foucault, the beckett???

    perhaps i expect too much.

I realise I'm a bit late in replying to this, but I thought I'd mention that any discussion regarding any aspect of theatre is welcome (and indeed, to be encouraged!) here.
