For the first time in years the Merseyside derby will be between clubs within a few points of each other and with the Toffees above Liverpool. Given the recent form of both you'd say Everton would win, and they tend to play well in derbies anyway.

Is this Liverpools "redemption" game, can a win tomorrow get them back on track?

i think it will be a 2-2 draw.

Murphy and Baro's to score for l'pool.
Not sure who'll score for Everton. Rooney might get one.

I'd say a draw too, 1-1... Owen and Radzinki.

The REAL question should be, will Houllier get the sack if Liverpool loose?

    It's a possibilty ya know....

If he gets the sack it will be a disgrace.

6 weeks ago: "Another win :D hehe i'm so happy! Liverpool for the title"

Present: "Jesus another loss. Houllier is doing X, Y and Z wrong, and he has to go."

Some fans are far too fickle.

Some fans are far too fickle.

I'm not too sure about that....
When Liverpool were winning trophies etc, no one was complaining as such. But can any Liverpool fan truly say the footy (esp this season) has been great to watch?

I think it's been terrible, and I would put up with it, if it means winning the league...

But when Sunderland are beating us, ey ....

Sidenote: Anyone see McAllisters goal today? Scorcher.

Terrible game, although I dare say Gandalf is doubly happy after Man U being beaten as well :)

Yep very happy :) Was out for a few drinks with a fellow Arse supporter tonight and he and I agreed that this was indeed a good weekend for the Gunners.
