NCT question

My car was first registered in March 1995. So it was due its first NCT test in 2001. It didn't do the test until August 2001. I understand that this was perfectly legal, once it was tested before the start of 2002.

Now, my NCT cert expires in March 2003. The question is - does the same thing apply for the second test? Obviously, now I have an NCT cert/disc which says expires 03/03. Is it still OK to wait until later in the year before doing the test?

    Brian

In a word nope, I think. Its due when you get the test date from the NCT, though I'm sure they'll give you later date if its just a question of a week or two. After all ppl could be out of the country when its due.

    Mike.
