    No date given.

Because Challange is such a popular channel, I would question the accuracy of this announcement.

oooh! ooh! I think I'll take a kilo of salt with that lot!

Looking at that site, its doesnt look reliable, in fact, its predictions more than anything else.

UK Adult? ffs! There is no way a channel half owned by the BBC is going to be adult! I can see UK Drama going, but not bid-up.tv, Bravo and Challenge.

Dear oh dear. I offically call this thread lame.

General consensus on digitalspy seems to be towards regarding this as either a guess or uninformed hoax.

what kind of life span does the Game Network have i wonder. i turned it on tonight and there was some rubbish called Babestation on. it is 3 female idiots trying to be sexy for anyone who hasn't seen it. this channel was so much better when it was half Italian because now it never seems to have any games on it. nothing but stupid text messaging

The text messaging seems to be Game Networks life line,as theres no teleshopping on it, and as for the fashion channel
whats keeping them afloat . I could see the fashion channel going before Bravo, although I would miss the Pirelli Calender
    thingy.....

It's always possible (and likely) that certain channels will close but I'm very sceptical about this. It seems to be speculation posted as fact.

the Fashion Channel has been going FTA a long time before it ever appeared on Sky so it must be doing something right. i think it will be a long time before that one goes

Speaking of channels keeping afloat - Whats keeping the Racing Channel afloat? It's 7 month trial period of Irish Racing exprires on Dec 31 after that they have to cough up - How? No sub or advertising + Without Irish Racing they have nothing decent to show on a regular basis. How are they going to survive?

The GameNetwork transmissions from Hotbird doesn't have any of that text messaging mullarkey!;) Still a crap channel though.

I cant imagine Bravo closing soon. Though it has some competition from Reality TV I'd imagine.

As for the Racing channel, I think its days are numbered, especially with attheraces rivalling it too.

Why would you list bid-up.tv and not mention Auction-World.tv?, whos auctions never seem to move past 10 pounds when the Estimated price is like 4000 pounds and they always sell those bloody Globes of the World with different gemstones for each country.

OOh sounds like someone has lingered too long on that channel!
