    Hi my brother was messing with the VOB Files on one of my DVDs and now all the files how windows Media player extentions, how do I resolve this. Any Suggestions. I have Windows XP

    Few options depending on what you want:

    1 - Do you ever open vob files directly anyway? If not, why bother changing the association? If it's never been associated, you could always (in Win explorer) click Tools, Options, File Types, scroll down to VOB and just delete it

    2 - If it used be associated with a handy app, just reinstall it. If that doesn't work, do option 1 first.

    3 - Just right-click the file, click "Open with...", select the app you want to use to open the vob files and tick the "always use this application blah blah box"
