    Anyone who uses ntl news server's regularly will know they have been absolute shít for the last few months.

    Today, ntl announced a text only news server promising to be much more reliable.
    As part of our commitment to improve Usenet newsgroup access for our
    customers, there is now a text-only ntlworld newsgroup server available to
    ntl:home internet customers.
    This should improve the speed and availability of newsgroup access for
    ntlworld customers who are not using binary newsgroups.

    The new server is available at text.news.ntlworld.com and has a maximum
    article size of 50k.
