while its obvious keane is better than neville and veron, should he go straight into the side.united are on a run at the moment, and its never a good thing to change a winning formula!
    likewise with beckham and butt.

It'll probably be the usual case of a substitute appearance fr 45 mins or so first. Then he'll look like he's playing well and will be straight back in.,

I know Phil Neville has had an exceptional run, and two months ago I would have laughed if someone told me that that was going to happen, but I can never see the day where he keeps Keano on the bench. Solksjaer on the other hand has been doing very well on the right, so maybe there is an arguement for not allowing Beckham to automatically slot back in. Although I do prefer to see Ole as a striker. Butt is normally a sub anyway so the question is not all that relevant to him.

Unless any of the active players show signs they are not up to the task..which Phil is bound to do sooner or later.
Keane shouldnt get a look in.

After all the injuries and the turmoil, Keane might not be the same player. I'd see him on the bench and playing in the Worthy for a few weeks before he gets a run in the premiership.

Beckham will be straight back in as he's naturally fit and his free's and corners will multiply the goal chances for Van N, Forlan and Solskaer.

Ferdinand is rubbish and not fit to lace O'Shea's or Browns boots.

Keane will go straight back into the team but only when he has fully recovered-he's getting a run out 2nite in the reserves and if he passes then he'll be on the bench for the weekend-utd have a busy schedule ahead and no doubt he'll be involved but ferguson doesnt have to rush him back-he is club captain,he will be back-i think blanc should be left out of the team-the back 5 have gelled together and should stay together if fit.

I don't think Keane should b allowed to just walk back into the team because of his name he should have to fight for his place like any other player the same wit ferdinand. The defence is playin the the best football i've seen them play since the year they won the treble!

Rio Ferdinand has admitted that he has a battle on his hands to win his place back in the Manchester United line-up when he finally recovers from his thigh muscle injury.

Beckham will get his place back, cos Ole has a hamstring. They said after the Depor match he'd be out for at least a month (hopefully not).

Keane will probably come in for Neville, who's well used to filling in when we have injuries, and also used to bowing out when we don't. If not I'd expect to see either Giggs or Scholes rested. Whatever his qualities as a footballer, Keane's leadership (read bollicking of team-mates not playing well) would be missed.
