    most ps 1 games use .wav
    so most players will play them

    and that player looks for .bgm
    but on gta3 the music uses .vb files
    anyone got any other ideas ?

    i remember seeing an app for ripping the music from vice city, can't remember where tho.
    i think it was one of the links on gouranga.com....
    would that app work for ps1 games iswell?
    the tool you need for that is called xaplay, can't be bothered looking for a link tho.

    only 1 or 2 ps1 games use wav files for music, you can normally just play those games in your stereo (eg wipeout 3)
