I can get my hands on a Sony Ericsson T300 on the cheap, alas my SIM is 4 years old, does anyone know if o2 will upgrade this for free? I'm on speakeasy and I do spend a lot on my phone (was eligible for the upgrade too). I've no credit to call them at the mo :-)

Go into your local digicenter and ask them to upgrade.
They can't charge you for it.
Also the new chips hold 200 names and 50 messages iirc.

It's getting that nearly all the new phones will only work with a 3v SIM (the original ones were 5v). You'll need to visit an O2 shop for a 'free' swap - jusrt remember to copy off your existing numbers to the phone storeage, before copying them back onto the new card.

Would Vodafone do the same? My sim can only hold 20 messages, tis annoying.
