Well theres a thread about goalkeeping errors but who do you think are the best keepers in the world at the moment?

I would have to say Oliver Kahn and Brad Friedel. What do you think?

Would have to say I think Chelsea's Cudicini has been the best keeper in the premiership over the last two seasons. Dudeck was excellent last season, and at the start of this season, and Brad Freidel has been very good too as has Paul Robinson at Leeds but for me Cudicini wims. I do not see enough Serie A or La Liga really to comment, I would not know any keepers form teams outside the top four or five clubs in either league.

Brad Friedel has been the most consistant keeper this season in the priemership.
He had a stormer of a World cup too.

last season there was nothing between given, dudek and cudicini....this year it could be anyone but Barthez has been unusually inspired of late

i don't know if you have seen it, but the goalie of nantes called michael landreau made a good trick to ronaldinho (donaldinho for the marseillais;) ).
    i explain :
it was last week, nantes v psg.
ronaldinho is ready to kick a penalty, landreau is completly at the left of the net.
    ronaldinho>>>>>>>>
finally, he dicieded to shoot on the left, certain he was that landreau will dive on the right and.............landreau didn't move and stopped the penalty:)

Lilli - was a discussion about Barthez doin that to fulham lately, a lot of people thought it was cheating, unsporting etc..... I am sure they will think Landreau is also a cheat, but then again he does not play for United!

i think kahn is the best keeper at the moment-in the prem cudicini would get my vote-he was impressive last year and this year he's 1 of the reasons why chelsea are where they are in the table.

I think Friedel is the best in the prem this season but best in the world goes to Kahn, Buffon or Toldo. With Kahn probably edging it
