Not really amazing stuff but nice to see a bit of a stance being taken by Comreg.

PPC's are important for OLO's in particular in the leased line wholesale market.

Eircom do not require "a little kick" - they need something more in the order of a sustained battering with pick-axe handles, administered by four heavy-set guys, down a darkened alleyway, with the cops looking the other way

PPC = Particle Projector Cannon , if so , Comreg needs to aim one at Eircom

There is quite a bit of fighting talk in that document. The "Directions" are worth reading. Talk is cheap, but at least its fighting talk.

I especially liked "Appendix - List of Directions" with its "For ease of reference, the following sets out a list of Directions set out in this Decision Notice" A totally unsubtle " Now listen here Eircom, if you are too thick to undestand it the first time, here it is again, sans interuptions"

As always, time will tell. But it augers well for the Directive........
