    The comment included in that page is correct. It's actually a Russian BMP carrying Russian troops in Chechnya, being blown up by a massive landmine. I've got the actual video footage in .rm format, definitely *not* a result of a GBU or other aerial launched munition.

    That sequence of images was shown to me by a friend on rotten.com about 15 months ago, and it said there that these were Afghan resistance fighters who were attacked by Soviet Troops during the Soviet-Afghan war of 1979-1989. Apparently a Dutch film crew took the shots.
