How do you upgrade phone software/

    I've got a 6210 and 6310i, i was told if you go into your local phone dealer that its possible to upgrade the actual phone software. Is it worthwhile or does it just fix a few minute glitches which you wouldn't notice anyway? Cost if any?

    Only specialist dealers will do it.
    nokia's approved agency is in Bray, and would probbly do it at no cost - others may charge. As to whether it is worthwhile depends on if thefunctions you use are causing you problems. I had difficulties with a 9210 and had ir re-flshed twice in 6 months at no charge. If you don't notice problems, the chances are unless there has been a full model alert issued, it's safe not to bother!

    I live in bray:D, my 6210 and three people i know with one have the exact same problem with it turning on and off on a full battery, sometimes a message asking to insert sim card comes abruptly out of nowhere and i also noticed sometimes if you write a message in the messages screen then save to the outbox it says message saved, then once you check the outbox it has vanished. There are a load of slight defects like this in the 6210 so maybe i'll look into getting its software upgraded.
