    I am about to by all the parts needed to build my on PC.

    Seeing that your all techy guys could you take a look and let me know if what I am getting is good value and/or copmpatible.

    You might want to know that AMD XP processors labled AMD ATHLON XP1700 do not run at 1.7 gig but a bit lower that that i am not sure but it could be as low as 1.5 gig.

    I am an AMD user myself amd have a 1 gig duron right now.

    At first glace that looks okay, except for:

    The harddrive. WAY too small. You'll need bigger than that, especially if you play games.

    The graphics card. Urghie. Get a GeForce 4 Ti4200 if you can, they're just under 150 now.

    17" monitor, you'll go blind looking at a 15" one. Really.

    dont get a relysis monitor, they are ****e. Your monitor will be with you for a while, so pay the doh for a good one

    Before you buy this, check the prices with Komplett.ie, you might find a few gems, like their 120gb drive this week (one of them por moi, merci :)
