    A friend sent me a publisher file but when I try to open it I get a message saying "Publisher can't open files from other versions". Is there any way to work around this? For example a viewer that I could open it with and then cut and paste into Publisher 98. It's the content more than the formatting that I'm interested in so I'm not worried about losing that. I have Office 2000Pro installed also if anything in there might help.

    there are free viewers for word and powerpoint, so there's prolly one out there for publisher... cant seem to find it on microsoft.com tho
