I've got a meteor 6210 and was wondering is it possible to send email from it like from my 6310i.

I've gone into and changed the "Message sent as" (located at 1-8-2) from text to email, alas once i try to send from the write message screen, it asks for E-mail service number. Before i ring up the Meteor team or whatever they like to be called, i wanted to know is it possible to do this and if so, does anyone have the E-mail service number?

Send a text message containg the text open to 0857112244.

This is your SMS email service number.

then your email will be formatted as follows:
me@hotmail.com This is the Email body.......
and send it to the above number.

085*******@sms.mymeteor.ie will be you email address.

Also, since you have wap enabled phones, setup your email accounts (Any Email Account onece you know its pop or mail server addresses) at the mymeteor.ie website and go to wap email. Its pretty good imho.

    Hth ;)

I heard this number on the radio over a year ago. I never thought to try it till I read your post but it still works.

Send a text with the recipients address, followed by a space, followed by the message.

    Text it to this number...
    086 6055506

Im 087 and it works so I assume it works for everyone! I;m also assuming the charge is the same as a normal text? Anyway, there ya go!
