Technical Sites .. Reviews

Right .. basically post up your review sites.

Just two things to keep in mind:

Try to post a direct link to the main list of reviews, not the sites frontpage... easier to quickly establish if the site has what you're looking for then.

Try to keep to definitive sites for specific products or technical areas.. while some small sites can have excellent reviews, I personally don't tend to trust their opinion as much if it looks like they don't have too much experience with other products

Hopefully this thread will help people looking for reviews on specifc products rather than having to resort to google and having to trawl through a host of **** sites and reviews to get to what they want.

Quite impressive site, with indepth reviews and actual photographic tests. Lots of photos throughout of the cameras/menus/accessories etc., and they really seem to dissect them quite well. For example the Nikon D1H is a 24 page review!

This is more a beginners site... if you want a basic rundown on the cameras specs. and features then this is pretty good.

I've listed the two because both have a huge selection of reviews.. basically if the camera you are looking for isn't in those two it doesn't exist

If you can learn to take the wild opinions with a pinch of salt, tomshardware has a wide variety of reviews on different hardware, not just cpu and motherboard technology. For example, lcd screens, wireless networking, and all sorts of new and upcoming technology.
Also, if you are nostalgic at all, like me, the archives of toms hardware a great resource for reading up on older hardware.

the nights of light have some great reviews in the News > Tech Support Magazine section of the forums..
the forums are only new, so there aren't alot of reviews posted yet..
if ya have some good reviews, ya can post them in this 'Magazine', but first ya gotta register and then ask admin that ya wanna become a journalist (so ya can post new threads in the Mag section..
the website was taken down for some reason a few days ago..
there aren't alot of members yet, so their lookin for more members and posters..

www.windrivers.com - Not specifically a review site but has links to the latest reviews from the top site. Also handy for current hardware prices and latest breaking news.

Don't subscribe unless you require specific Windrivers site content.

Reviews and news are free.

Seconded the videos let you see the product from a out of the box perspective rather than a promotional video
