Win 2000 and Scandisk

    Why dosent Scandisk come with win 2000? Is there any other programs that will do the same job?

    Its called chkdsk in windows 2000. Run it from a cmd window or from your hard disk's property pages.

    just right click on the drive from explorer goto properties/tools/error-checking. it's a much more efficient version.

    chkdsk went out in the wash years and years ago ;)
