    Is there anyway to turn off that annoying "you have fragged blah" notice? takes up too much of the screen :)

    And anybody got some decent rail settings.. mine looks pretty ****ty at the moment.. I've played around with the trailtime and stuff but havent a clue what other ppl are using or what the general consensus is.

    I think ch_obituaries 0 turns off the death messages. Dunno about rail commands, since I use cg_Railtrailtime -100 which means I have no rail trail, ColdSalmon mentioned something about a rail trail script on quake.ie, http://www.quake.ie/comments.asp?item=1442 but its not working properly for him or something.

    [php]cg_oldrail 0[/php] makes the rail gun look like the quake 2 railgun.

    For the frag message try:
    [php]ch_fragmessage 0[/php]

    I recently bought Q3, and now im just waiting on my new PC to arrive so I can load it up, but as far as I could see the manual didnt contain a list of the console commands. I assume there's a comprehensive list somewhere on the web??

    Can someone post a link?

    It's where I got this info

    "cg_centertime" - This command lets you limit how long the "you fragged <playername>" message appears when you frag someone. The default setting is 3, but the recommended setting is 1. Setting this command to 0 means no message is displayed. This command works only is server side only.
