    ok after hours of trying to get this **** thing working
    im resigned to asking yee lot (no offence really)

    i have Starcraft, as some of yee know.........yet the bloody thing refuses to work for me

    anyways
    the tasc.reg will not work in any other folder but C:\.......then when i run tasc.exe nothing happens...(yes i did exactly as dev said in that there woohoo post)
    lol

    then right
    starcraft would not load for me
    i clicked on it and nuttin happened, then the **** thing froze my pc and forced me to reboot

    then to make things even better!
    starcraft would not remove
    well nto totally true...the uninstall removed all files except starcraft.exe, storm.dll and those tasc things........said access is denied or something

    and i cannot get rid of it...i cannot install over it for some stupid access denied reason!

    please help??

    same thing happened to me when I tried to remove a version of SC to put a spawn on for LAN play. At the time we thought it was the protection the cybercaf had put on the PCs (some crap program called Watchdog or something).

    Anyway, have you tried deleting it through DOS?

    Maybe checking the file attributes would help.

    Anyway, sorry about the late reply but ....

    sounds like a problom ever think that it could be a hard ware confliction ??? well that's my ythough if now go to www.blizzard.com

    and go to the starcraft and have a go in ther e finding the soloution post the problom on that bord and some one will tell ya whats wrong and how to fix it
