    Hi,

    Lads, may I respectfully ask a photo related question of a non-tech nature please?

    I want to buy a digital camera and would like to know whether the cheaper (80/90 euro) digi cameras are a complete waste of time or a reasonable low-cost entry level proposition for a complete photography novice like myself. There will be no artwork photography involved ...... just a few shots to mail to family/friends. Have any of you had a trial with any of these low-cost products?

    I am considering the "Trust family 500 Cam" (retailing @ 90 euros on Komplett.

    Finally, what does "X" pixels hardware, "2X" pixels via software" mean??? Does the software turn a 1.3 megapix unit into a genuine 3 megapix item or sumthin'?
