They absolutly sucked balls at Ozzfest this year - and I'm a SOAD fan.

No mention of Slayer I see? They tore the place apart at Ozzfest.

In fairness monument, I don't think you did this very well - you never advertised it on any of the other Music boards (and if you did, I didn't see it).

Not trying to know your efforts btw - fair play!

    I'm sorry (ok?), it's a bit rushed and I can say I did fu!k up (a bit  )

if I'm to have any part with this next year I will do it right, advertise it more and for longer. All you have to do is trust me! :)

but to be fair to my self I did try to add more to the polls when people asked

The foo fighters rocked at witness and they are one of the few bands left that actually know how to act like rock stars after a gig ie get completly rat-arsed drunk and drugged up(although i thinks taylor has eased up a bit after reading last year).

Brian Wilson, Múm and Blackalicious are probably the best 3 I've seen in Ireland this year...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,503 ✭✭✭Makaveli

Blackalicious was the best I've seen aswell.
But how many people on boards would have gone to it?
6 at most I would say, so it would never have been in contention, even though the gig deserved to be.

Close me bolloxs...safe more like. The Chillis were abysmal this year. Why no Tool at Ozzfest, Air at Witnness, Idlewild at Witnness, Queens Of The Stone Age????? And while I'm on the subject, Jimmy Eat World at the Ambassador in May...

  • Moderators, Motoring & Transport Moderators Posts: 14,093 Mod ✭✭✭✭monument

ok ONLY one more "act" can be added, please post who and why... any one seconded more then once will have a better chance....

Its gotta be Queens Of The Stone Age. For their debut show in Ireland, I honestly can't say they played a bad song. Mark Lanegan is a God...plus I've never seen the Ambassador so full before, obviously a lot of fans...
