i just upgraded to Windows 2000 and ive got everything else running but me modem, its an Intel Ham Plus v.90. Its probably been answered before but anyway, i'll give it a shot. I have the driver for Win2k but it only installs it to COM1, which is the serial port and the modem is at COM4 , anyone?
    thanks :)

uninstall in control panels > system > device manager
    shutdown
    remove physically
restart ....does w2k install the REAL com1 now (the external serial port)
    IF SO
    shutdown
    reinstall physically
    restart
NOW where does it shove the modem seeing as COM1 was already taken up.
