BF 1942 hi-fps config?

Hey, My friend is getting really low fps (10 to 30) even though he has a 1.8 celeron, 256 ddr, gf2. I was wondering if anyone new if there was a hi fps config or models out? Also his hercules something or other gives him even lower fps is there a fix for the t&l problem or does he have to use the gf2? Thnxs

Gf2 isnt suffice to get good FPS on it unless he has one of the many problems with it.
Here is one fix.

Lower sound quality to 16000hkz and use 16 bit instead of Default (that wokred for me)

I have G3 ti 500 and get over 100 in SP and avg 60 online.

Yes do what kdja suggests,it does work.
Also the celery 1800 is a below par cpu.
An AMD xp or Intel P4 1000 will outperform it.
