Missus has just moved in. She's a language teacher and she's interested in having some of the European language channels.
I'm also interested in these and some of the channels on Astra where, er, language is not so important ;)
Anyone know a company who will install a satellite dish? I think a Sky dish will do but I've no interest in any of their packages.
What's the position re decode box? Will one box do for TV and radio? Analog and digital??

    TIA

You're better off with digital-only. Analogue is being phased out, and most of the stuff still on analogue is available on digital also anyway.

You'll want a slightly bigger dish than the sky dish, as the other satellite signals are slightly weaker than the sky ones, hence the dish should be slightly bigger.

Have a look at the channel listings on this site:
http://www.lyngsat.com/europe.shtml You'll probably want to click on "19.2E" and "13.0E". These are the most popular TV satellites in Europe.

Have a look at www.satellite.ie for prices and things like that.
