    Hi,
I've upgraded plenty of pc processors in my day but never a laptop processor.
I've got a Dell Inspiron P3 450 (One of the slowest mobile p3's) and am thinking of upgrading - to as high as possible a cpu - 1ghz if it'll take it.
Anyone have any experience / advice on this type of upgrade?
    Cheers.

Well if you get it upgraded tell us how you did it?
Its nearly impossible as the chips are soldered on to the board (well any i've seen).

Check some japanese sites, they usually do mad stuff like that.
