    Well I don't think it's an official site, but cplusplus.com is a very good reference site. You might also have a look at the boards.ie C/C++ FAQ.

    seems like the folks from the 'smarty-pants' board have gone to college :)

    what/where are you studying? oh, and since you are female, i might as well throw in the obligatory a/s/l? ;)

    The thing i have learned when looking for c++ resources on the web is that google treats '+' as an operator, so it's best to search for "c++" in quotes.
