im about to dl the source, dust off my old atari st and its trusty c compiler. compiling it for use on the 68000 will increase performance 3million percent and let me run mortal kombat 3 with sound. but if i want to run the newer ones i think a bit of over clocking might be in order. do you think ill be able to crank her up to 9-10mhz? shes running pretty hot a 8mhz at the moment.

it either that or the cray i found in the attic.

Might i recommend you check your power supply as well? You'd want to make sure your ST is getting enough juice... An nuclear reactor should do the trick. As for playing Mk/MK2/MK3 with sound.....pipe dream , Cheer yourself up by playing a game of Marvel Vs Capcom on final burn instead:)
I've decided to finish building my new machine just need to stop spending all my cash on booze and buy a mobo and chip.

djste18 puzzloop was one of the stranger Jap games to reach Europe but not half as weird as some of the other games released on the same hardware:) (Super Kaneko NOVA System) Did you play this game on the arcade itself or the playstation version? I'd also recommend you should download Cyvern it's a pretty good shooter.

[edit] A lovely pick of puzzloop[/edit]

They're begining to appear on most of the major sites now. Most of them have been WIP for a long time so prehaps a search for unemulated mame roms:)

Happy days..I've had to burn a few CD's myself. Roms seem to eat up hd space. It was nice to have that 2mb connection but its not so bad where I'm working 1mb connection. I'm filling up a 3Gb HD with roms but its a little difficult cause some rom sites are blocked and Kazza and the like is a non starter.....

Maybe HTTP tunnel may help a bit, you dont get as much bandwidth but its better than nothing.

Nah it's not worth it. I know of hundreds of sites so it's not that big a problem.
