    Smiths toystore...

    They give you a number of vouchers which you can redeem against accessories/games, which brings down the price of the whole bundle..

    Might be better to weait a ferw weeks, in case there's a console price war...

    Nope. I think all the price-cutting thats going to happen, has happened. Might see another 20-30 quid knocked off the PS2 next March, but I doubt there'll be anything before then.

    Only console looking likely to get a cut is GameCube, and I'd be very surprised if that happened before Spring.

    I wouldn't say the price of the likes of a PS2 will drop before christmas as they are so popular - maybe after christmas though!

    I got a PS2 last week from Xtra Vision:

    PS2: 270.
    Vice City: 50 (tenner off)
    Memory Card: $40 (Fiver off).

    The card was overpriced already..

    I say keep away from the extra controller and dated game packs. You could pick up a PS1 Dual Shock for feck all from someone. No analogue buttons but as a secondary pad that'll do fine.

    You can also pick up much better games than Fifa 2nd hand or on Platinum. I got Rez for €27.
