bought it, played it for ooo 15 minutes, uninstalled it, had shower to wash the filth off, brought it back, got money back, bought sports car gt for next to nothing and now am happy.

    its a pile of ****.

the graphics are pretty damn sweet, it dont have huge system requirements but the handeling reminds me of a radio controlled car i had when i was a kid. to steer you stopped the car, a stand dropped from the bottom, you turned the car, the stand retracts and away you go. can you spin those cars?

it reeks of consoleness, cursor keys in menus? please. if i had a ps2 it would be fine a bit of arcadey fun but after getting my kicks from nascar 2002 and gpl this last month or so the bar has been raised a bit to far for everything to reach.

scgt it better for no brainer fun and its a hell of a lot cheaper 3.50 blippers in hmv it is.

Out of the box the game plays as discribed above.
But on the PC version a quick look in the numerous config files will tell you there is a very advanced physics engine at work which Razorworks have done a fine job of shackling.
Changing some of the parameters in the Datafiles will get you back to the game the original programers intended. Once you have the arcade mode turned off its alot of fun , except for the Distruction Derby style AI.
The history of this game with regard to the original developers ( West Racing) and the publisher (Empire) make this valid introduction to what the Wests eventually hope to acheive with there Racing Legends project.

i think everyone but you and davey brought it back due to the wankieness of it :)

although if it is the precursor to the racing legends project that west have been pimping for the last age there should be potential, shame i brought it back.
