    While I won't miss thier cheap and nasty product, its nonetheless
    a major day for Irish children everywhere (well maybe not). HB are being closed down after 75 years as prodcution moves to the Continent.

    Shame really, just another excuse for retailers to put up the price of ice-cream.

    So we will have to switch loyalty to Darrena allen!!! :D

    TBH, most of their product lines where made outside of Ireland anyway, so it will hardly be any chance - hence the unified Heart symbol, and no "HB" name on many products so when made in one country, they could be sold across the board. Really Unilever killed HB off a long time ago :(
