    Hey

    Has anyone got any links to / info. on an application which builds up UML from a previously written Visual C++ application....

    any links , ideas would be great

    Microsoft Visio and Rational are just two of them that are available it all depends on how much money you want to spend :)

    UML reversing tool (display only) -> http://www.essmodel.com/

    UML editor (import I think) -> http://www.gentleware.com/products/download.php3

    Both free to use.

    Rational is the bells and whistles commercial version. If you have the dosh probably worth getting.

    I am looking for something free and quick -
    I tryed ESS model but the tool does'nt support Visual Studio C++
    (as far as I see only java and delphi)

    I'll keep looking

    It reverse engineers C/C++/Java but like most (read *all*) UML tools is a bit on the cumbersome side.
