    I recently intalled the above games on my pc

    specs:
    AMD XP 2000+
    256 PC 2700 ram
    40gb hd
    Creative GF4MX 440 64mb
    ASUS A7S333 mobo
    CMI 8738 Sound
    win2k sp3
    ie 6.1

    When i go to run either of the above games they minimize to the taskbar.... when i click them on the taskbar they maximise for a second then shrink back to the taskbar. They just wont start. I dunno whats up

    Any1 had expierence with this before? Or got ne tips/help

    are you running refresh rate fix's ?

    one of them stopped me running BF

    for bf1942, open the file named VideoDefault.con located in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Settings and find the line renderer.allowAllRefreshRates. make sure its 1 and not 0.

    that should fix the refresh rate problem. not sure about AvP2.
