Urm....HETAC are the body who award degrees, and national certs and diplomas in this country, so i'm guessing they're reputable...

A HETAC award is basically saying that you have the Irish governments approval.

Arguably it is worth more than an award from a university as they are strictly monitored and the syllabi are regularly re-appraised.

HETAC replaces the NCEA, which certifies the vast majority of Institute of Technology and other non-university courses (there is also another organisation, FETAC I think, that will certify further education courses).

NCVA are primarily second level couses. NCEA / HETAC are third level.
