Hasbro has apparently stopped Image and Dreamwave selling GI JOE and Transformers comics in Europe as they only have the license to sell them in North America. Unless they can reach an agreement, we're left out in the cold.

Are you sure they will though?
Looks like I'll be getting a mate of mine to send them over to me from the States. Irritating.

From talking to one of thr Sub-City people, there's still a chance that might be on sale but he didn't sound too confident. He also said that originally Hasbro were so put out that they were going to take the Transformers license off Dreamwave altogether!

Also, there's a few places that deliver comics from the US to your door. Try googling for New England Comics.

No fault of DreamWaves. In fact, everyone is going absolutely f*cking spare over this.

Hasbro included. THey've just lost 60% of their market.

Blame can be apointed to "Diamond" (I think) - Hasbro's distributors who have just f*cked them over the licensing.

Yea im pretty sure you will still be able get them in
Graphic novel forms, i have it from a very good source.
Its only the monthly comics that are not going tobe on sale over here

Hasbro et al. are, afaik, frantically working to get back the licensing since, as I mentioned previously, they want that 60% of their market back.

[note]: N.America only accounts for 40% of Hasbro's transformer/gi-joe revenues.

Richie in Sub City says they will be trying to acquire some anyway by hook or by crook. I've a mate in the states who will be buying me them until I can get them here again.
