Switch off of Current Sky Cards

Does anyone know whether Sky will have a blanket switch off of all current cards when they believe everyone has got their new cards or will they be cancelled on an individual basis as people activate their new cards.

Reason for this query is that I have an ex Sky FTV Sub and don't really want to pursue a new card until the new ones are in regular use.

Basically will we see Xmas out on the current cards??

    Appreciate feedback.

As I understand it, no cards have yet been issued, so nothing to worry about this side of Christmas, I feel.

Its unlikely this will happen before Christmas as its the busiest period, on the other hand Sky can do some stupid things at times.
