Sky Active in Ireland

Hello. I just picked up a leaflet in the shops today that says that Sky Active features now work in Ireland. I am interested in using the send text to mobile phone and email services.

The thing is that my pace digi box is UK. I could get a dial tone if I used the BT cable with a UK to IRISH adaptor but would I have to change any dialling numbers on the box. I see in the secret installers menu that there is an item called dialling prefix do I have to insert anything in that box?

Also I am not subscribing to Sky at the moment will I still be able to use the email service. Why when I go to Sky News and press red for interactive email do I get Talk 21 surely thats the UK service and not available in the Republic.

Anyone got any answers? - Anyone used it succesfully in Ireland yet?

    Thanks.

    Andy.
