Anyone know of a good source of reasonable quality coffee beans at a reasonable price in reasonable quantity?

The only options seem to be the likes of Gloria Jeans, or the supermarkets. Is there anywhere where one can buy like a 5kg bag of beans?

There's a place right across from Renards pub which is good.

Call into any Bewleys shop, and I'm sure they'll sell you coffee beans in any quantities you like...

500g of mature Java beans cost me €9 last Saturday..
(or about €4 for an 8oz weight bag)..

They have the typical varieties, e.g.:
    French Roast
    Decaf
    Half and Half,
    Columbian,
    etc..

And sell by weight, so you should be able to pick up what you want..

Sheridans- it's a cheesemongers on Sth Ann Street up from Keoghs that sells coffee beans too. It's likely you'll get the best coffee there as well as they import just about everything direct themselves rather than go through distribution. You might pick up some good cheese there too.
