Mirror sub already available?

I have been told by my brother-in-law :) that mirror subs are available here, and in fact have been available since May. At least two people allegedly have extra digiboxes for an extra €10 a month. Supposedly there's a box you can tick on a new version of the subscription form that relates to this.

Now frankly I'm sceptical, since there's been no mention of it here, and I would have expected this to come up if it's true. Can anyone confirm/deny that there's a new subscription form with anything like this, or that they have heard anything about this?

    Ciarán.

I just called sky looking to get a second digibox of my minidish.

Can do. Cost €21.50 a month + cost of digibix.

Was given a couple of uk numbers to call to order. Going to give them a go tonight

I can confirm that an extra option like this wasn't on my form (signed up on Aug 28 this year)

You won't be the only one ringing them tonight.

Got through and the plot thickens.. I was told that second sub was not available, I asked him to check this out and he came back and confirmed that it is 'definitely not available in ROI'.
Another puzzle (or just poor information in the Customer Service Dept).

None of the Sky contracts we have at work have anything regarding extra subscriptions. I would imagine it's the same contracts used throughout the country.

Thats funny because I got the answer that it was available at 21.50 euro which is cheaper than the 15 sterling they charge in the uk.

I'll call them again this afternoon and try and order it. See what they do if I wave some money there way.
