Does anyone know of any ISP that provides net access in the North that doesn't require registering, like the numbers here from Esat and Eircom. I did try searcing but there seems to be loads and they all mention free in there names but still require registering Regards James

Eircom does require you to register. Esat IOL/Oceanfree have a global username/password, but they still know your phone number, so it's not anonymous.

Most isps seem to also insist CLI is turned on, but I don't know exactly what the story is.

Is registering that big a deal?
