Is it possible to copy the audio from a tape onto a CD,with track numbering and so on just like a normal CD?If so what contraption would I need? And is there a place anywhere that copies these -preferably for low cost?
    Cheers.

You can use Adaptec Spin Doctor.
You use a dual headed jack and connect your tape player to the pc, it converts them to mp3 and burns em to cd.
Spin Doctor is part of Adaptec Easy CD Creator 5 platinium iirc
