When you say John Leslie named, are you saying that Ulrika Johnson has named John Leslie as her alleged rapist from many years ago or that some rag tabloid "news"paper has named him... or are you just naming him yourself?

does anyone else think that its a bit strange that since his name was mentioned a number of women have come forward claiming that he raped them also? even better why has only one gone to the police and the rest to max clifford? and finally we have to remember that his name was mentioned on a program on channel 5 that rivals his one on itv. fishy me thinks

In fairness discostu its been an open secret that it was John Leslie from the getgo. Theres little doubt that its him that features in the book.

I think most people realised that he was the main suspect as far as the media were concerned but that they were being very careful not to actually mention him by name. When you say "John Leslie named", I was just wondering if somone has gone as far as to publicly name him. Nevermind, I guess.

He's actually been quoted as saying that he's horrified at the accusation, and the fact that he's been linked with the matter (no doubt those links are baseless, etc.), thus putting his own hat into the ring.

He used to present Blue Peter, and he presents some brekkie TV show.

If he's innocent the only course of action now is for John Leslie to sue Channel 5 for slander....and call Ms Johnson as a witness for the defence.

Women do you trust them? It is kind of strange that 25 women or somewhere near that, come forward claiming that he raped them from a evil soul piercing glance across the river Thames. I guess half of these so called cases are from women who lack the intellectual acuity to see it will do them more harm that good in the long run, but just want to make a grand or two out of the sun while the story is HOT!!!!!!!!!!

The way Ulrika has dealt with it is stupid, after 14 years of not reporting it to the bobbies, she writes about it in a book and how do we know she didnt make it up to boost sales of her book. Then she lets the blame go onto some guy then he blames another, and if neither of them did it their names will be tarnished forever regardless of being proved innoCent or not.
