is it just me or has the games forum turned in to a brag fest recently?

I was simply answering the question, what is "bragging" about simply saying I have them anyway?

I am not a ****ing child, I earn decent money and buy consoles if I want them no big deal....

what the hell is that LoGiE, did you breed a nes and a c64?

i remember my c64 had a keyboard with the f keys down the right hand side and a chunky tape drive

    CommodoreC64GS
The C64GS was released in 1990. Basically it was a re-boxed C64, without a keyboard or any other interfaces, except for the cartridge slot on top.
It didn't have much success as you could buy a C64 for not much extra, and the C64GS games would still work on the C64.

Thinking of getting an Xbox. €250 sounds reasonable.

Is it a good DVD player tho? (I know i would also need the remote).

A DVD specialist magazine (DVD Review I think) gave the X-Box 4 out of 5 for it's DVD playback, which was higher than the PS2.

For those that own all 3 next-gen consoles, which one do you like playing the most, not which console do you play the most.

Um... I like playing the Cube the most, because it has the nicest controller of the lot IMO. But in terms of software, the PS2 is still streets ahead of the other two.

I found the controllers for my PSX yesterday, which means I can play tekken 3 again. Fear my X O button skilz

I might buy a PS2 but the cube interests me.

I went to a great exhibition in Edinburgh called Game On.

It is the history and future of video games and they had everything including Speccy, Amiga etc.

DannyD where did you manage to buy all those old DC titles?

    ;)

Ah the joys of Gran Turismo 1.

I finally managed to learn how to drive my fully specced Viper t'other night (ie: don't try to go round corners at 300kph) and am close to winning those US v Japan etc. races. Close because I keep spinning out in almost every race.

But then I've also discovered the joys of Medival: Total War and am currently trying to conquer Europe from Eygpt.

Now if only I had an army of armoured Dodge Vipers....

    I own all 3 consoles:
    The atari jaguar
    The 3DO
    and the CD:I
Oh that CD:I zelda game rocks.

I have a PS2 and Cube. Not getting a Xbox. Halo is not as good as the hype suggests and there really is nothing else good coming out on it that isn't coming out on pc. Also mediocre American generic sports and action games don't interest me.
Metroid Prime looks like it will be a Halo better and the next goldeneye.
