My Pace box had to be replaced wirh a panasonic. This is my fourth box inside 12 months,(3 pace, 1 Panasonic) is this a record?

Anyway I have a free to view card which of course is not 'married' to my new box, I cannot get the bbc stations so should I get a brand new card or can the card be married to the new box without much hassle.

Had same problem last week. I called Sky and gave them the, card number, version number and seriel number for the new box, and the name and address of the person who I got the card from. The channels were on in less than 1 minute

It's best to do that (with appropriate details) for any card when you change a box. If it's a Sub Card (Including "cancelled sub" card) ring Sky direct, if it's a true "FTV" card (not a cancelled sub card) ring FTV number.

The same happened me in my first year with Sky. Suffice to say, I don't think a lot of Pace boxes! I now have my Panny over a year now and am very happy with it so far!:)
