How do i contol the amount of ram used on each program.
I want to control Nero Burning Software so there will be no hardware lagging when i want to run something while burning.
I know that you can -heapsize in the Gamespy game command line, but when i tried it with Nero, it wouldnt work.. probably the way i wrote it.

wanted to edit something but cant remember now :)

Not really the answer your looking for, but may help and is along
    the right lines:

If your using XP, ctrl+alt+delete and click the processes tab. Then
right click the required process and you can increase/decease
priority. This however is processor priority and not RAM useage...

you cant limit the amount of memory a program uses..
if you did and your program tries to allocate more
    memory..

you will receive an "application error" dialog box
    in win2k/xp

it can crash 9x boxes, but usually just the application

You're probably best off letting Nero take up whatever resources it wants while burning. CD burning is very timing-sensitive, and if Nero has to wait around for memory/CPU, you will likely end up with a dud CD.
