Just does anyone know how long a character will last on the EQ server when the account has been cancelled?

AFAIK, Verant hasn't ever cleared cancelled accounts, personally I have cancelled my account for up to 6 months on a few occasions to return with everything intact.
I'm afraid I don't know how long they should offically last for.
