Here Mick would you look at tha'!

Wales beat Italy by 2 goals to 1 this evening.

A certain team wearing snot coloured jerseys could take a leaf out of their books.

    ahem.

    ...

    Well done Wales!

    G'wan Wales! :D

I was watching some of the game on RAI UNO and they would have beaten ROI about 4-0, great goals from Davies and Bellamy.

    Mike.

Had the misfortune of being at Lansdowne Road this evening and unfortunately didn't see this game, but I was discussed that I didn't put the money on for wales winning that I was telling everyone in work about.

I just had a gut feeling about this. I'm not surprised at all tbh.

On top of an in-form welch team playing at home, Italy were missing Vieri, Inzaghi and Totti.

I was also looking at Sky sports news on Friday evening and that "SP" part suggested that amazingly the Scotts were 3-1 for a victory against Iceland. Once again I said that they would won, but never put the money where the mouth was.

    Oh well.

P.S. Also thought Switzerland with get a 1-1 draw with us and that wasn't too far away either

It was no freak result, Wales deserved it from what I saw. That Bellamy goal was class, great ball from Hartson too.

    :)

wales are slowly but surely acquiring a team of premier division players, that is why their standard has risen(along with some good coaching on sparky's behalf).their problem has always been having to rely on the 1st and 2nd division to fill the holes, much like scotland at the moment, who are in a long rebuilding period.
